Getting LEDEdit Pro 2026 running takes a few minutes: buy, install, activate. This guide covers each step and explains what to do if activation shows an error.

System requirements

  • 64-bit Windows PC
  • Internet connection for activation
  • Your license key and the email address you used to buy

FFmpeg (used for video import and export) is included in the installer — you don’t need to install anything else.

Step 1: Buy and get your license key

Buy LEDEdit Pro 2026 at buy.lededit.pro (Gumroad, €199 one-time). After payment Gumroad sends a receipt email with your license key, and your purchase stays available in your Gumroad library.

Keep that email — you need both the key and the email address it was sent to.

Step 2: Install

  1. Download the installer from your Gumroad purchase and run it.
  2. Setup uses your Windows language automatically — it is available in 29 languages — and only asks if yours isn’t one of them.
  3. Choose whether to install for you only (no administrator rights needed) or for all users.
  4. Accept the default folder LEDEdit Pro or pick another, then finish setup.

The installer creates a Start-menu entry and places the app together with FFmpeg in the install folder.

Step 3: Activate on first start

On first start LEDEdit Pro opens the Activate License dialog:

  1. License key — click Paste to insert the key from your clipboard. Show / Hide toggles the key’s visibility.
  2. Buyer email — the email address from your purchase receipt.
  3. Once the key is complete the dialog shows “Ready to verify online.” — click Activate to check it with the license server.

After a successful activation the Open Project start screen appears and you can create your first project — follow the LEDEdit Pro 2026 tutorial.

You can reopen activation later from Help → Activate License, and see the current state (with your email partly masked) in Help → License Status.

FAQ

Can I install LEDEdit Pro on a second computer? Activation is tied to a computer. If you switch PCs, contact support to move your license.

Do I need to stay online? You need a connection to activate. Keep the app updated so license checks and update notices work.

Is my license key the same as my Gumroad receipt number? No — use the license key shown in the receipt, not the order or receipt number.
