The T-1000S (and its T-1000 / T-2000 siblings) is the controller most people start with: an SD card, one data output and a huge range of supported pixel chips. LEDEdit Pro 2026 treats it as its main family and exports .led files for it directly — no conversion step.

Tips

  • Pick the family printed on your controller — T-1000 and T-1000 Type 47 are different profiles.
  • Use the chip name printed on the pixel or the strip’s datasheet, not the strip brand.
  • Keep a spare SD card with a known-good file for testing.

Export .led files for T-1000 / T-2000

  1. Map your LEDs in the LED Layout Creator or import a DXF layout, with one port per controller output.
  2. Build the show with layers, clips and scenes on the timeline.
  3. Open Output → Export LEDEdit .led…, choose the T-1000 / T-2000 family and the chip type of your pixels.
  4. Check the preflight (controller, chip, colour order, scenes, frame rate, outputs, LEDs) and click Export.
  5. Copy the files to the SD card, or use Output → LEDEdit Tools → Write to SD Card….

Does LEDEdit Pro 2026 work with the T-1000S?
Yes. The T-1000 / T-2000 RGB family is the main T-series family in LEDEdit Pro 2026, with 81 chip profiles. Choose it in the export dialog together with the chip type of your pixels.
What is T-1000 Type 47?
Some T/K controllers use type-47 style file headers. LEDEdit Pro lists them as a separate family (T-1000 Type 47) so the file matches what the controller expects. If a normal T-1000 export does not play, try this family.
How many LEDs can one T-1000 output drive?
The export profile allows up to 2,048 LEDs on its single output. For bigger layouts use a second controller or a multi-output family such as K-8000 / T-8000.
My T-1000S shows wrong colours — what now?
Check the colour order (RGB, GRB…) and the chip type in the export dialog first. Wrong colour order gives wrong colours, not a dark display.
