T1K-U-2048, T2K-U-1024, T4K-U-1024 and T8K-U-1024 Software

Program the LEDEdit 2026 T-U controller series with LEDEdit Pro 2026: T1K-U-2048, T2K-U-1024, T4K-U-1024 and T8K-U-1024 with WS2811, SM16703, UCS1903, RGBW (TM1814, TM1914, SM16704) and DMX512 profiles.

The T-U series comes from LEDEdit 2026: the same chip support in four sizes, from one output to eight. LEDEdit Pro 2026 includes all four models with 15 export-ready chip profiles each — including RGBW and DMX512.

Pick by how your cables run, not only by total LEDs: a sign with four separate letters is easier to wire on four outputs than as one long chain.

RGBW, 16-bit and DMX

  • RGBW: TM1914, TM1814 and SM16704 profiles send a white channel as well.
  • TX5806 uses a 48-bit RGB payload (16 bits per colour).
  • DMX512 profiles at 250K, 500K and 750K.

Export .led files for T1K / T2K / T4K / T8K-U

  1. Map your LEDs in the LED Layout Creator or import a DXF layout, with one port per controller output.
  2. Build the show with layers, clips and scenes on the timeline.
  3. Open Output → Export LEDEdit .led…, choose the T1K / T2K / T4K / T8K-U family and the chip type of your pixels.
  4. Check the preflight (controller, chip, colour order, scenes, frame rate, outputs, LEDs) and click Export.
  5. Copy the files to the SD card, or use Output → LEDEdit Tools → Write to SD Card….

What is the difference between T1K-U-2048 and T8K-U-1024?
The number of outputs and the LEDs per output: T1K-U-2048 has 1 output with up to 2,048 LEDs, T2K-U-1024 has 2 × 1,024, T4K-U-1024 has 4 × 1,024 and T8K-U-1024 has 8 × 1,024 in the export profile.
Do these controllers support RGBW pixels?
Yes. Each model has three RGBW-ready chip profiles: TM1914, TM1814 and SM16704.
Can I output DMX512?
